The Nazareth Building construction commenced in November 2024 which initially required a lot of work on our sewer, sprinkler and hydrant lines and storm water work.

We are now pouring concrete as quick as possible to get the two levels of slab completed so we can install the roof. Since design inception we have continued to work on improving the design and layout including the way the building interacts with the rest of the site, particularly the road. Instead of the road running immediately in front of the Nazareth building there will now be a substantial lawn area and gardens, to both soften the look of the structure and to reduce heat and noise loads impacting the buildings occupants. We have completed all the planning work necessary to be able to demolish the nursing home when we need to without any undue further investigation or delays.

 

We expect to have the Nazareth Building completed and be able to be occupied by August 2026. After completion of construction, it will take around a month to bring in all of the equipment and furniture, hang the curtains train the staff on the new how to use the new equipment.
