Together, they pull back the curtain on the architectural vision driving the Nazareth Building: a brand-new, 60-bed residential aged care home extension of Holy Family Services in Marayong, Sydney. Designed to move far away from clinical, institutional environments, this project is built on the core values of hospitality, love, and acceptance. Liz shares why she was drawn to this project and unpacks the unique "household" design model. Instead of one giant facility, the building is split into four distinct households of 15 residents, each featuring its own domestic kitchen and intimate lounge spaces to foster genuine family bonds.
