Les and Grazina, and Roger and Helen Hurba
On behalf of my brother and myself, we would like to express our gratitude and thanks for the first-class treatment that our mother, Anna Hurba, received in your care.
Mum entered Holy Family on the 3rd March 2014. Since that day, Holy Family’s high standard of care has never wavered. Her spiritual care matched the physical care she received. That was important to us as her devotion to God was paramount in her humanity. A time span of eleven years, involving changes in staff, management, personal relationships, menus and regulatory systems was challenging, especially during the Covid pandemic. Throughout, Holy Family has been steadfast in its objective of providing only the best of care. Special thanks to the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth who gave so much of themselves to ensure Anna’s peace and devotion throughout those years. Special thanks to Iwanca, who made Anna's life a joy and had such love for her. Special thanks to all the staff throughout the years. Special thanks to all the staff in her last days who let her have her dignity, humanity and a painless end.
We are forever grateful. I have a favour to ask though, more advice related to her clothing. Is there a way to remove her name from the labels of her clothes as charities will not accept name-tagged items?.
