Holy Family Services is a Ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth who were founded by Blessed Mother Frances Siedliska in 1875, with her mission to support family life and values.

Ever since 1954, when the pioneer Sisters arrived in Marayong, our services

have grown to provide care, education or a retirement living choice to many families.

Our Residential Aged Care Service, Brother Albert’s Home has 146 beds for people over 65 years old with high level clinical or personal care, memory (dementia) care or palliative care needs. Our professional qualified Registered Nurses and personal care staff provide 24 hour care, assisted by our support teams of pastoral care, leisure and lifestyle, hospitality, allied health, maintenance and administration.

Blessed Frances Siedliska Retirement Village is nestled in behind Brother Albert’s Home in beautiful grounds with 28 cottages for independent retirees or semi retirees over 55 years old who are looking for a safe, friendly, and low maintenance retirement living home.  There is a nurse call system for emergency call 24 hours a day.

Holy Family Early Learning Centre offers exceeding education and care programs for children ranging from six weeks to the commencement of primary school.

Our Big Plans

In 2025 we already started our work on a Master Development Control Plan for the whole site. That work will involve some simple works to the roadways and surfaces across the site. The road closest to the childcare centre will be widened to become the main entry and exit point for all vehicles. A separate pathway will be added for pedestrian safety from the childcare centre to the road, with its own access gate. All the parking will be changed so that it becomes right angled to the kerb. This will allow us to make up for some car parking spaces that will be lost with the redesign of the roads.

We are also planning for the building that will replace the nursing home, that at this time will be multi-storey apartments built to disability standards to allow ageing in place. An image of how it may look is below.

Consumer Care Advisory Body

All aged care providers are obliged to offer to have a Consumer Care Advisory Body. A consumer advisory body collects feedback from residents and relatives and shares it with providers.

Joining lets you share your concerns and ideas with us. Membership is voluntary. It provides an opportunity for us to improve. We will discuss a range of topics at the meetings such as safety, food and care,

activities and recreation.
