CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
The Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) provides the basis for working within the health industry in either aged care or a community setting. Students will learn how to care for and provide support to elderly clients and how to communicate and work in the health industry.
BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
The Certificate IV in Leadership and Management provides the basis for leading and managing others within the health industry in either a hospital, aged care or community setting. Students will learn how to manage their workload, lead teams improve workplace relationships and communicate effectively as a workplace leader.
The Certificate IV in Ageing Support equips aged care workers with specialised skills to allow them to complete specialised tasks and functions within the aged care industry. This course is suitable for both residential aged care and home or community care environments.
The following single units of competency from the CHC Community Services Training Package have been combined to provide a focus on assisting clients with medication and how to administer and monitor medications.This is suitable for existing workers in the aged care industry that have CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) but have not completed these selected medication units.
