About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and qualified Early Childhood Educator, who is passionate about delivering high quality education and care for children with identified needs.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for delivering our engaging educational program, whilst creating a supportive environment for children who require additional support. You will be supported by a professional and friendly team and assist with the implementation of programming, planning and observations.
Requirements
Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Assist with the implementation of a play based learning environment responsive to children’s interest, strengths and abilities
Working one-on-one with students with identified support needs
Contribute to the development of our educational programs which reflect the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Contribute to the development of an environment for children which fosters curiosity, exploration and problem solving
Ensure compliance as a mandated reporter which requires reporting, where there is reasonable grounds to suspect that a child is at risk of significant harm
Implement intentional teaching strategies to support and guide children’s interest and learning
Engage in critical reflection and evaluation of children's learning, documenting progress and maintaining accurate records
Ensure the service is operational each day, by conducting daily and monthly workplace inspections and risk assessments as scheduled
To be successful for this role, you will hold the following:
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Experience working in Inclusion Support or with students with identified needs
Current Working with Children Check
First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
Sound knowledge of The Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Regulations
Understanding of Early Childhood Code of Ethics
Strong commitment to the provision of high-quality early childhood education and
Commitment to own ongoing professional development
Ability to complete relevant documentation, observations and evaluations for individuals and groups of children

Holy Family Services (HFS) is a non-for-profit provider of aged care, early learning and retirement living services for the community of Western Sydney. We are a ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, established by the Sisters more than 65 years ago. In 2008, HFS established Holy Family Early Learning Centre (Centre) as a dedicated childcare service to provide care and early learning resources to local children and families.
Our Centre has a strong reputation in the community and is renowned for its high standard of care and family-friendly environment. We demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. We are proud of the service we provide and have been rated as Exceeding by the National Quality Standards 1, 4 & 5 – Educational Program and Practice, under the National Quality Framework. As a 39-place centre based in Marayong, we cater for children from birth to 6 years of age in a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment. Our centre operating hours are 6.30am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
