Low Care - Ageing in Place
Brother Albert Home is now a new 90 bed low care ageing in place facility which replaces the old 30 bed facility and now joins the nursing home building. It consists of three wings - Brother Albert Wing (35 beds), Joseph Wing (35 beds) and Mary Wing (20 bed dementia specific). Accommodation is single room with ensuite and each wing has it own care station, dining room, lounge areas and courtyard.Our facility provides 24 hour nursing care, medication management and assistance with all daily activities such as toileting, bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility. All meals are prepared in the on site commerical kitchen. The facility also has an on site commercial laundry.
The new building has features such as a Chapel, Coffee Shop, Hairdresser and Recreation Hall.
